SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

IRONWOOD OUTBACK

SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

Effective Date: 4 September 2026
Website: ironwoodoutback.com.au
Country: Australia

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders placed with IRONWOOD OUTBACK are produced, dispatched and delivered.

Many IRONWOOD OUTBACK products may be produced using print-on-demand (“POD”), made-to-order, manufacturing and third-party fulfilment services. This means production time and delivery time may vary between products.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Returns & Refunds Policy.

1. ORDER PROCESSING

When you place an order with IRONWOOD OUTBACK, your order may be transmitted to the relevant production or fulfilment provider for processing.

Depending on the product, processing may include:

  • order verification;
  • garment allocation;
  • printing;
  • embroidery;
  • manufacturing;
  • finishing;
  • quality checks;
  • packing; and
  • preparation for dispatch.

An order being successfully placed does not necessarily mean that it has already been manufactured or dispatched.

2. PRINT-ON-DEMAND AND MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

Many IRONWOOD OUTBACK products may be made specifically after a customer places an order.

Unlike products taken from existing retail stock, POD and made-to-order products may require production before they can be dispatched.

Customers should therefore allow for:

Production Time + Shipping Time = Estimated Total Delivery Time

Production and shipping are separate stages.

A shipping estimate should not be interpreted as including production time unless we specifically state that it does.

3. PRODUCTION TIMES

Production times may vary depending on:

  • the particular product;
  • garment availability;
  • printing or embroidery method;
  • POD or manufacturing provider;
  • production facility;
  • order volume;
  • product customisation;
  • quality-control requirements;
  • public holidays;
  • peak trading periods; and
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where an estimated production time-frame is provided on a product page, order confirmation or other customer communication, it is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.

We do not recommend relying on an estimated production or delivery date for an event, holiday, birthday or other deadline unless we have expressly confirmed that deadline in writing.

4. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY ESTIMATES

Estimated shipping or delivery time-frames may be displayed on:

  • the relevant product page;
  • the shopping cart;
  • checkout;
  • an order confirmation;
  • a dispatch notification; or
  • another communication from IRONWOOD OUTBACK.

Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly state otherwise.

Actual delivery times may vary according to the destination, carrier, fulfilment location and circumstances affecting the delivery network.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law where goods are not supplied within an agreed or otherwise reasonable period.

5. AUSTRALIAN DELIVERY

Where Australian delivery is available, orders may be dispatched from Australia or from another production or fulfilment location depending on the particular product and supplier.

IRONWOOD OUTBACK being an Australian business does not necessarily mean that every product is manufactured, printed, embroidered, packed or dispatched from Australia.

Where information about a product’s production or fulfilment location is provided, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that information is accurate.

6. REGIONAL AND REMOTE AUSTRALIA

IRONWOOD OUTBACK proudly serves customers across Australia, including regional and remote communities where delivery services are available.

Delivery to regional, rural and remote locations may take longer than delivery to metropolitan areas.

Delivery times can also be affected by:

  • distance;
  • carrier service frequency;
  • road and transport conditions;
  • severe weather;
  • flooding, fire or other natural events;
  • local access restrictions; and
  • other circumstances affecting regional transport networks.

Where a carrier applies a remote-area restriction or surcharge, this may affect the available shipping options or shipping cost.

7. SHIPPING CHARGES

Applicable shipping charges will generally be displayed before the customer completes checkout.

Shipping costs may depend on factors including:

  • delivery destination;
  • product;
  • parcel size or weight;
  • POD or fulfilment provider;
  • shipping method;
  • number of fulfilment locations; and
  • available carrier services.

IRONWOOD OUTBACK may offer free, discounted or promotional shipping from time to time.

Any applicable conditions will be stated with the relevant promotion.

8. MULTIPLE PRODUCTS AND SPLIT SHIPMENTS

IRONWOOD OUTBACK may use more than one POD, manufacturing or fulfilment provider.

Products within the same order may therefore be:

  • manufactured at different facilities;
  • completed at different times;
  • packed separately;
  • dispatched from different locations; or
  • delivered by different carriers.

As a result, one customer order may arrive in two or more separate parcels.

Receiving only part of an order does not necessarily mean the remaining products are missing.

Where available, separate tracking information may be provided for separately dispatched parcels.

9. TRACKING

Where tracking is available, tracking information will generally be provided after the relevant parcel has been dispatched.

Tracking information may take some time to become active after a shipping label has been generated.

Customers should be aware that:

Order confirmation does not mean dispatch.

A parcel should generally be considered dispatched when it has been handed to, accepted by, or entered into the delivery network of the relevant carrier or fulfilment process.

10. DELIVERY ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for checking that the delivery information supplied at checkout is accurate and complete.

This includes:

  • recipient name;
  • street address;
  • unit or apartment number;
  • suburb;
  • state or territory;
  • postcode;
  • country, where applicable; and
  • relevant contact information.

Please check your delivery details carefully before submitting your order.

11. ADDRESS ERROR NOTICED AFTER ORDERING

If you notice an incorrect or incomplete delivery address after placing your order, contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK immediately.

If the order has not progressed too far through production or fulfilment, we will make reasonable efforts to correct the delivery information.

However, POD and fulfilment orders may be processed automatically and quickly.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once the order has entered production, packing, fulfilment or dispatch.

Customers should not contact a POD provider directly to attempt to change an IRONWOOD OUTBACK order unless we specifically instruct them to do so.

12. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESS PROVIDED BY CUSTOMER

If an order cannot be delivered because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, the parcel may:

  • be delayed;
  • be returned to sender;
  • be held by the carrier;
  • require redirection;
  • require redelivery; or
  • in some circumstances, be unable to be recovered.

Where additional shipping, redelivery, redirection or reproduction costs arise because incorrect or incomplete delivery information was supplied by the customer, the customer may be responsible for reasonable additional costs where permitted by law.

We will consider the circumstances before requiring additional payment.

Nothing in this section affects rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

13. RETURNED-TO-SENDER PARCELS

If a parcel is returned to a POD provider, fulfilment facility, warehouse or other return location because delivery could not be completed, please contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK.

Do not independently contact or instruct the POD provider unless we ask you to do so.

We will investigate the parcel status and determine the appropriate next step.

Depending on the reason for the return, this may involve:

  • redelivery;
  • payment of reasonable additional postage;
  • correction of delivery information;
  • reproduction of a product where appropriate; or
  • another remedy required by law.

14. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS AND UNCLAIMED PARCELS

The carrier may require the recipient to:

  • be available for delivery;
  • collect the parcel from a nominated location;
  • respond to a delivery notification; or
  • arrange redelivery.

Customers are responsible for taking reasonable steps to receive or collect their parcel after a valid delivery or collection notification.

If a parcel is returned because it was not collected or because reasonable delivery attempts were unsuccessful, additional shipping or handling costs may apply where permitted by law.

15. SAFE DROP AND AUTHORITY TO LEAVE

Some carriers may offer safe-drop, authority-to-leave or similar delivery options.

Where a customer gives a carrier authority to leave a parcel without obtaining a signature, the delivery will be subject to the carrier’s applicable procedures and the circumstances of the delivery.

If tracking shows that a parcel was delivered but you cannot locate it, contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK so the matter can be investigated.

A tracking status alone will not prevent us from considering reasonable evidence that a delivery problem has occurred.

16. PARCEL MARKED DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED

If tracking indicates that a parcel has been delivered but you have not received it:

  1. check around the delivery location;
  2. check with other members of the household or workplace;
  3. check any safe-drop location;
  4. check with neighbours where appropriate; and
  5. contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK promptly if the parcel still cannot be located.

We may need to open an investigation with the carrier, POD provider or fulfilment provider.

We may reasonably request information from you to assist with that investigation.

The appropriate outcome will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

17. LOST PARCELS

If a parcel appears to be lost in transit, please contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK.

Customers should deal with IRONWOOD OUTBACK rather than attempting to resolve an IRONWOOD OUTBACK order directly with the POD manufacturer.

We may investigate the shipment with:

  • the carrier;
  • POD provider;
  • fulfilment provider;
  • warehouse; or
  • other relevant service provider.

A parcel will not necessarily be treated as lost simply because it has not arrived by the earliest estimated delivery date.

Where a parcel is confirmed lost, or where the circumstances otherwise require a remedy under Australian Consumer Law, we will provide an appropriate remedy.

18. DELIVERY DELAYS

Delivery may occasionally be delayed by circumstances such as:

  • carrier network delays;
  • production delays;
  • stock or blank-garment availability;
  • severe weather;
  • floods, fires or natural disasters;
  • transport disruption;
  • industrial action;
  • public holidays;
  • peak retail periods;
  • customs or border processing;
  • incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
  • remote-area access;
  • security incidents;
  • supplier disruption; or
  • events outside our reasonable control.

Where we become aware of a significant delay affecting an order, we will take reasonable steps to assist the customer and obtain relevant information from the supplier or carrier.

19. SIGNIFICANT OR EXTENDED DELAYS

IRONWOOD OUTBACK will not use estimated delivery wording or third-party supplier arrangements to avoid obligations that apply under Australian Consumer Law.

Where a delivery timeframe has been expressly agreed, we will take that agreement into account.

Where no specific delivery date has been agreed, products must still be supplied within a timeframe consistent with applicable law.

If an order experiences a significant or unreasonable delay, contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK so we can investigate and determine the appropriate solution.

20. DAMAGED PARCEL OR PRODUCT

If a parcel or product arrives damaged, contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK as soon as reasonably practical.

Please retain:

  • the product;
  • product packaging;
  • shipping packaging;
  • shipping label; and
  • any other relevant material,

where reasonably possible while the matter is being assessed.

We may request photographs of the parcel, packaging, shipping label and damaged product.

Damaged, faulty and incorrectly supplied products are handled under our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable Australian Consumer Law.

21. WRONG PRODUCT OR SIZE DELIVERED

If IRONWOOD OUTBACK or our fulfilment provider sends a different product, colour, variation or size from the one ordered, contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK.

This is different from a customer selecting the wrong size when placing an order.

We may request photographs showing the:

  • product;
  • size tag or label;
  • design;
  • packaging; and
  • shipping label.

We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.

22. CUSTOMER-SELECTED WRONG SIZE

Where the correct product and size ordered by the customer are supplied, a customer-selected wrong size or personal fit preference is governed by the IRONWOOD OUTBACK Returns & Refunds Policy.

For POD and made-to-order products, we do not generally accept a return, exchange or refund solely because the customer selected the wrong size or the fit is not to their personal preference.

Customers should check the product-specific Size Guide before ordering.

This does not affect Australian Consumer Law rights where the product is faulty, incorrectly supplied, materially inconsistent with its advertised sizing or description, or otherwise fails to satisfy an applicable consumer guarantee.

23. POD AND THIRD-PARTY FULFILMENT

IRONWOOD OUTBACK may use third-party POD, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and fulfilment providers to produce and deliver customer orders.

The use of these providers does not mean that the customer’s purchase contract is with the POD provider.

Customers purchasing through the IRONWOOD OUTBACK website should contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK regarding their order.

We will communicate with the relevant production, fulfilment or delivery provider where necessary.

Nothing in our supplier arrangements removes obligations IRONWOOD OUTBACK may have to customers under Australian Consumer Law.

24. INTERNATIONAL FULFILMENT

Some products may be manufactured, printed, embroidered, packed or dispatched from outside Australia even where the delivery destination is within Australia.

This can affect production and delivery timeframes.

Where reasonably practical, product and delivery information will indicate relevant fulfilment information that materially affects the customer’s order.

25. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER DELIVERY

IRONWOOD OUTBACK may introduce or offer delivery to destinations outside Australia.

The availability of international delivery may depend on:

  • the product;
  • POD provider;
  • fulfilment facility;
  • destination country;
  • available carrier;
  • customs restrictions; and
  • other operational considerations.

The availability of international delivery to a particular destination will generally be shown at checkout.

We do not guarantee that every product can be delivered to every country.

26. CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND IMPORT TAXES

Where an order is delivered internationally, customs duties, import taxes, processing fees or other government charges may apply.

Unless IRONWOOD OUTBACK expressly states that such charges are included in the purchase price or shipping charge, the customer may be responsible for charges imposed by the destination country.

We recommend reviewing applicable local import requirements before ordering internationally.

Nothing in this section permits IRONWOOD OUTBACK to impose charges contrary to applicable consumer law.

27. SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

Some products or delivery methods may not be available for certain:

  • countries;
  • states or territories;
  • islands;
  • PO boxes;
  • parcel lockers;
  • military addresses;
  • regional or remote locations; or
  • other restricted destinations.

Where possible, applicable restrictions will be identified during checkout or before dispatch.

If we cannot reasonably fulfil an order to the supplied destination, we will contact the customer regarding available options.

28. SHIPPING PROMOTIONS

IRONWOOD OUTBACK may occasionally offer:

  • free shipping;
  • discounted shipping;
  • minimum-spend shipping offers; or
  • other delivery promotions.

Promotional conditions may include:

  • minimum order value;
  • eligible products;
  • eligible destinations;
  • promotional dates; or
  • selected shipping methods.

The terms displayed with the promotion will apply.

29. ORDER CANCELLATION AND SHIPPING

If you wish to cancel an order, contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK immediately.

Because POD and made-to-order products can enter production quickly, cancellation cannot be guaranteed after an order has been submitted.

If an order has already entered production, printing, embroidery, manufacturing, packing, fulfilment or dispatch, cancellation may no longer be possible for a customer change of mind.

Our full cancellation provisions are contained in our Terms & Conditions and Returns & Refunds Policy.

Nothing in this section affects rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

30. DELIVERY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES

Tracking events, estimated delivery dates and carrier notifications may be generated by third-party carriers or fulfilment systems.

IRONWOOD OUTBACK may display or forward this information to customers.

While we take reasonable steps to provide accurate information, third-party tracking information can occasionally be delayed, incomplete or updated after an event occurs.

If you believe tracking information is incorrect, contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK.

31. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL

IRONWOOD OUTBACK will not be responsible for a delay to the extent it is caused by circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control, subject always to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We will not rely on this section to avoid obligations imposed by Australian Consumer Law.

Where such an event significantly affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to communicate with the customer and determine an appropriate course of action.

32. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law.

Where this Policy is inconsistent with a right that cannot lawfully be excluded, the applicable law prevails.
