IRONWOOD OUTBACK
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: 31 August 2026
Website: ironwoodoutback.com.au
Country: Australia
Welcome to IRONWOOD OUTBACK.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the IRONWOOD OUTBACK website and your purchase of products from us.
By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order or purchasing products from IRONWOOD OUTBACK, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them carefully before using the website or making a purchase.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable Australian law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
1. ABOUT IRONWOOD OUTBACK
IRONWOOD OUTBACK is an Australian-owned ecommerce brand selling apparel, merchandise and related products.
Website: ironwoodoutback.com.au
Some IRONWOOD OUTBACK products may be manufactured, printed, embroidered, packed or dispatched by third-party manufacturers, print-on-demand (“POD”) suppliers or fulfilment providers.
References in these Terms to “IRONWOOD OUTBACK”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean the operator of the IRONWOOD OUTBACK business and website.
References to “you” or “your” mean a visitor, customer or user of our website.
2. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
Depending on the circumstances, these guarantees include that goods must:
- be of acceptable quality;
- be fit for any disclosed purpose;
- match their description;
- match any sample or demonstration model where applicable; and
- satisfy other applicable consumer guarantees.
If a product fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy including a repair, replacement, refund or compensation depending upon the circumstances and whether the failure is major or minor.
Nothing in these Terms or any IRONWOOD OUTBACK policy is intended to exclude or limit these statutory rights.
Our own returns, exchange or warranty policies operate in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
3. USING OUR WEBSITE
You agree to use our website lawfully and responsibly.
You must not:
- use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
- introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;
- interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- attempt to scrape, copy or systematically extract website content without permission;
- impersonate another person;
- provide deliberately false information;
- use our intellectual property without authorisation; or
- use the website in a manner that infringes another person’s rights.
We may take reasonable steps to protect our website, customers, intellectual property and business from suspected fraud, abuse, security threats or unlawful activity.
4. ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- the information you provide is accurate;
- you are legally capable of entering into the transaction; and
- you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
If you are under 18 years of age, you should use this website and make purchases only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
5. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, photographs, sizing information, colours, specifications and prices displayed on our website are accurate.
However, there may be minor differences between how a product appears on a screen and the physical product.
For example, colours may appear differently depending on:
- screen settings;
- device type;
- lighting;
- photographic conditions;
- printing methods;
- fabric or material;
- manufacturing processes; or
- individual product characteristics.
Products featuring distressed, weathered, vintage or intentionally aged artwork may contain design variations that form part of the intended appearance.
Nothing in this section limits your rights where a product does not comply with an applicable consumer guarantee.
6. PRODUCT SIZING
Customers should review the applicable product-specific Size Guide before ordering apparel.
Sizing and fit may differ between garments, manufacturers, styles, brands, POD suppliers and product types. Customers should not assume that the same size label will have identical measurements or fit across different products or brands.
Where measurements or size charts are provided, customers should use the information for the specific product being purchased and, where practical, compare those measurements with a similar garment they already own that fits well.
For POD and made-to-order products, where IRONWOOD OUTBACK correctly supplies the product and size ordered, we do not accept a return, exchange or refund solely because the customer selected the wrong size or the fit is not to their personal preference.
Where a manufacturer or supplier specifies a measurement tolerance, that tolerance may be stated in the product-specific Size Guide or product information. We do not apply a universal measurement tolerance to every garment unless supported by the relevant manufacturer or supplier.
Nothing in our sizing or change-of-mind policy affects rights under Australian Consumer Law where a product is faulty, incorrectly supplied, materially inconsistent with its advertised sizing or description, or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains the options available where an incorrect size has been ordered.
7. PRICES
Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on our Australian website are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Where GST applies, prices will be displayed or charged in accordance with applicable Australian taxation requirements.
Product prices, promotions and availability may change from time to time.
A price change will not retrospectively alter the price of an order that we have already accepted, except where required or permitted by law and agreed with you where necessary.
Any applicable delivery charges will be disclosed during the checkout process before the order is submitted.
8. ORDERS
Placing an order through our website constitutes an offer by you to purchase the products shown in your order.
Receiving an automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that an order has been finally accepted or dispatched.
We may need to verify:
- payment;
- product availability;
- delivery information;
- suspected fraudulent activity; or
- other information reasonably necessary to process the order.
Once an order has entered production, printing, embroidery or fulfilment, it may not be possible to cancel or modify it.
This is particularly relevant to products manufactured or produced specifically after an order is placed.
Nothing in this section affects rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
9. WHEN WE MAY DECLINE OR CANCEL AN ORDER
In limited circumstances, we may decline or cancel an order before fulfilment where reasonably necessary, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- delivery cannot reasonably be completed to the address provided;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment activity;
- an order breaches applicable law; or
- circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent us from supplying the product.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received and no substitute or other arrangement has been agreed with you, we will provide an appropriate refund of the amount paid for the cancelled product or order.
10. PAYMENT
Payment must be made using a payment method available through our checkout.
Payments may be processed by independent third-party payment providers.
Those providers may have their own terms, conditions and privacy policies.
IRONWOOD OUTBACK does not necessarily receive or retain complete payment-card information.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied when placing an order.
11. FRAUD AND PAYMENT SECURITY
We reserve the right to undertake reasonable checks designed to prevent fraudulent or unauthorised transactions.
An order may be temporarily held while payment or customer information is verified.
Where we reasonably believe a transaction is fraudulent, unlawful or unauthorised, we may decline the transaction or cancel the order, subject to applicable law.
12. PRINT-ON-DEMAND AND THIRD-PARTY FULFILMENT
IRONWOOD OUTBACK may use print-on-demand and other third-party manufacturing or fulfilment services.
This means some products may be produced only after your order has been placed.
Depending upon the product, third parties may perform services including:
- garment supply;
- printing;
- embroidery;
- manufacturing;
- packaging;
- warehousing;
- fulfilment; and
- delivery.
The use of third-party manufacturing, POD or fulfilment providers does not remove any obligations IRONWOOD OUTBACK has to customers under applicable Australian Consumer Law.
13. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Products are subject to availability.
Occasionally a product or particular size, colour or variation may become unavailable after an order is submitted.
If we cannot supply an ordered product, we will contact you where appropriate and provide a suitable remedy, which may include a refund for the unavailable product.
We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
14. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Delivery estimates displayed on our website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Actual delivery times may be affected by:
- production times;
- POD fulfilment;
- stock availability;
- delivery location;
- courier or postal delays;
- public holidays;
- severe weather;
- natural disasters;
- industrial action;
- customs or border processing; or
- other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will take reasonable steps to ensure orders are processed and dispatched within the timeframes represented to customers.
Detailed delivery information is contained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Nothing in this section limits any rights available to you under Australian Consumer Law where goods are not supplied within an agreed or reasonable period.
15. DELIVERY INFORMATION
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Please carefully check your:
- name;
- street address;
- suburb;
- state;
- postcode;
- country; and
- other required delivery information
before submitting an order.
If you discover an error, contact us as soon as possible.
Once an order has entered production or been dispatched, we may not be able to change its delivery details.
Additional reasonable delivery costs resulting solely from incorrect information supplied by a customer may be the customer’s responsibility where permitted by law.
16. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
Returns, refunds and exchanges are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy and Australian Consumer Law.
Many IRONWOOD OUTBACK products are manufactured, printed, embroidered or otherwise produced specifically after an order is placed through print-on-demand (“POD”) or made-to-order production.
Please choose products, colours and sizes carefully before placing your order.
16.1 Change of Mind – POD and Made-to-Order Products
Because many IRONWOOD OUTBACK products are produced specifically after an order is placed, IRONWOOD OUTBACK does not generally accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind for POD or made-to-order products.
- This includes where a customer:
- decides they no longer want the product;
- changes their mind about the colour, style or design;
- finds a similar product elsewhere;
- finds the product at a lower price elsewhere;
- no longer has a use for the product.
This change-of-mind position does not limit or exclude rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
16.2 Product Sizing and Customer-Selected Wrong Size
Customers must check the applicable product-specific Size Guide and selected size carefully before completing a purchase.
Sizing and fit may vary between garments, styles, manufacturers, brands, POD suppliers and product types. A size label used by one manufacturer should not automatically be assumed to have the same measurements or fit as the same labelled size from another manufacturer.
Where IRONWOOD OUTBACK correctly supplies the product and size ordered by the customer, we do not accept a return, exchange or refund solely because the customer selected the wrong size or the fit is not to their personal preference for a POD or made-to-order product.
Customers are responsible for checking the product selected, colour or variation, applicable Size Guide, garment measurements and size selected before completing checkout.
Where practical, customers should compare the product measurements with a similar garment they already own that fits them well.
16.3 Product-Specific Size Guides and Measurement Tolerances
Different products may use different garments, manufacturers and POD suppliers. Product-specific sizing information should therefore be used when selecting a size.
IRONWOOD OUTBACK does not apply a universal garment measurement tolerance to every product unless that tolerance is supported by the relevant manufacturer or supplier.
Where a particular manufacturer or product has a specified measurement tolerance, that tolerance may be stated in the relevant product information or Size Guide.
16.4 Customer Notices an Ordering Error After Checkout
If a customer realises after submitting an order that they selected the wrong size, colour, product, quantity or variation, they should contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK immediately.
If production has not commenced, we will make reasonable efforts to change or cancel the affected product where our production and fulfilment systems allow us to do so.
POD orders may be transmitted to production automatically and quickly. We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled once it has been submitted.
Once production, printing, embroidery, manufacturing, packing or fulfilment has commenced, we may be unable to change or cancel the order for a customer ordering error.
Nothing in this section affects rights arising under Australian Consumer Law.
16.5 Wrong Size or Product Supplied by IRONWOOD OUTBACK
If the customer orders one size or product and IRONWOOD OUTBACK or our fulfilment provider supplies something different, this is not treated as a customer wrong-size selection or change of mind.
The customer should contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK. We may reasonably request the order number and photographs showing the product, size label or tag, design, packaging or shipping label, and other information necessary to confirm the issue.
We will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.
16.6 Product Does Not Correspond With Advertised Sizing or Description
If a customer believes a product materially differs from the sizing measurements, product information or description provided by IRONWOOD OUTBACK at the time of purchase, they should contact us.
We may reasonably request photographs of the garment, the size label, garment measurements, photographs showing how those measurements were taken, and other reasonable information required to assess the issue.
Reasonable manufacturing tolerances may apply where supported by the relevant manufacturer or supplier.
Nothing in this section limits rights available under Australian Consumer Law where goods do not correspond with their description or otherwise fail to satisfy an applicable consumer guarantee.
16.7 Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Non-Compliant Products
Our change-of-mind and customer wrong-size rules do not limit rights under Australian Consumer Law.
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, the customer may be entitled to an appropriate remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
We may reasonably request proof of purchase, photographs and other information necessary to assess the product and claimed issue. We will not impose unreasonable evidence requirements for the purpose of avoiding our legal obligations.
A consumer’s statutory rights will not be refused solely because original packaging has been opened, damaged or discarded.
16.8 POD and Third-Party Fulfilment Returns
Customers should deal directly with IRONWOOD OUTBACK regarding returns and product problems.
Do not independently return a product to a POD provider, manufacturer, printer, embroiderer, fulfilment provider, warehouse, courier, overseas facility or an address printed on the original parcel unless IRONWOOD OUTBACK specifically instructs you to use that address.
Different products may be produced or fulfilled by different suppliers and from different locations. Some POD facilities do not accept unsolicited customer returns.
The use of a POD, manufacturer or third-party fulfilment provider does not remove any obligations IRONWOOD OUTBACK has to customers under applicable Australian Consumer Law.
16.9 Return Authorisation and Return Address
Before returning any product, customers must contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK and follow the return instructions provided.
Where a return is required or specifically authorised, IRONWOOD OUTBACK will provide or confirm whether the product needs to be returned, the appropriate return instructions, the return address where applicable and any other information reasonably necessary to complete the return.
The correct return destination may differ from the address from which the product was originally dispatched. A product is not necessarily considered correctly returned merely because it was sent to an address appearing on its original parcel, shipping label or packaging.
16.10 Condition of Any Authorised Discretionary Return
Although POD and made-to-order products are not generally accepted for change-of-mind or customer wrong-size returns, IRONWOOD OUTBACK may occasionally authorise a discretionary return in exceptional circumstances.
Authorising a return in one case does not create an ongoing entitlement to discretionary returns in other cases.
- Where we specifically authorise a discretionary return, the item must generally be:
- in the same condition in which it was received;
- unworn, unused and unwashed;
- free from marks, stains, makeup, deodorant, significant odours and animal hair;
- undamaged and unaltered;
- with original tags and labels attached;
- with accessories originally supplied;
- in original product packaging, where reasonably possible.
The product must be suitable for resale. These conditions relate only to discretionary returns and do not remove rights relating to faulty or otherwise non-compliant goods under Australian Consumer Law.
16.11 Return Postage
Where IRONWOOD OUTBACK exceptionally authorises a discretionary return that is not related to a failure under Australian Consumer Law, the customer will generally be responsible for return postage unless we expressly agree otherwise. Original delivery charges are not generally refundable for a discretionary return unless otherwise stated or required by law.
Where a product has a problem that entitles the customer to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law, responsibility for return or transportation costs will be handled in accordance with those legal requirements.
Depending on the circumstances, IRONWOOD OUTBACK may provide a prepaid return method, reimburse reasonable return postage, arrange another appropriate return method or determine that a physical return is unnecessary.
Customers should contact IRONWOOD OUTBACK before paying to return a faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied product.
16.12 Tracking and Proof of Return
Where a customer is instructed to return a product, they should retain their postage receipt, tracking number and proof of lodgement.
For an authorised discretionary return, we strongly recommend a tracked service. If an untracked discretionary return cannot be located, we may be unable to verify that it was returned.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
16.13 Refunds, Replacements and Australian Consumer Law Remedies
Where a refund is required or approved, it will generally be made to the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Where a replacement is an appropriate remedy, a POD product may need to be newly manufactured, printed or embroidered, which may require additional production and delivery time.
Where Australian Consumer Law gives the customer a choice of remedy, including for a major failure, IRONWOOD OUTBACK will respect that statutory choice. We will not require a customer to accept store credit instead of a monetary refund where the law entitles the customer to that refund.
Our Returns & Refunds Policy operates in addition to, and not instead of, rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law.
17. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
If you believe you have received a product that is faulty, damaged, materially different from its description or different from the product ordered, please contact us.
We may reasonably request:
- your order number;
- details of the problem;
- photographs of the product; and
- other information reasonably necessary to assess the issue.
Requesting reasonable information to investigate a claim does not remove your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Where an applicable consumer guarantee has not been met, the remedy will be determined in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
18. CUSTOM OR PERSONALISED PRODUCTS
If IRONWOOD OUTBACK offers personalised, customised or individually made products, those products may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return where the product was made specifically to the customer’s instructions.
This does not exclude rights under Australian Consumer Law where a personalised or custom product is faulty, unsafe, incorrectly produced, materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
19. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES
From time to time we may offer:
- discount codes;
- promotional prices;
- competitions;
- special offers; or
- other promotions.
Additional conditions may apply to a particular promotion.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes:
- cannot be exchanged for cash;
- may have an expiry date;
- may apply only to specified products;
- may be limited to one use per customer or transaction; and
- may not be combined with other offers.
Any promotion-specific conditions will be communicated with the promotion.
Nothing in a promotion limits statutory consumer rights.
20. GIFT CARDS
If IRONWOOD OUTBACK introduces gift cards, separate gift-card terms may apply.
Any expiry dates and conditions will comply with applicable Australian laws.
Gift cards generally cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
21. ACCOUNTS AND PASSWORDS
If customer accounts are available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and password.
You should notify us if you reasonably believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
We may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect the customer, other users, the website or IRONWOOD OUTBACK from suspected fraud, security threats or unlawful activity.
22. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the content and intellectual property associated with IRONWOOD OUTBACK are owned by, licensed to, or used with permission by IRONWOOD OUTBACK.

- reproduce;
- copy;
- modify;
- republish;

- commercially exploit;
- manufacture from;

- imitate; or
- create unauthorised derivative commercial products
using IRONWOOD OUTBACK intellectual property.
In particular, our artwork, photographs, product graphics, IW emblem, logos and branding must not be copied or used to manufacture or market competing or unauthorised merchandise.
Nothing in these Terms restricts uses that are expressly permitted by Australian law.
24. USER CONTENT, REVIEWS AND COMMENTS
Where our website allows customers to submit reviews, comments, photographs or other content, you remain responsible for the content you submit.
You must not knowingly submit content that:
- is unlawful;

- unlawfully discloses another person’s private information; or
- is defamatory or otherwise prohibited by law.
By voluntarily submitting content for publication on our website, you give IRONWOOD OUTBACK a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content for the purpose for which it was submitted and for reasonable operation and promotion of our business, subject to applicable law.
We will not claim ownership of your original content merely because you submit it to us.
25. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
Our website may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services.
These may include:
- payment services;
- social-media platforms;
- video platforms;
- delivery providers;

We do not control independent third-party websites.
Your use of a third-party website or service may be governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
26. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
We aim to keep our website available and operating correctly.
However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.
The website may occasionally be unavailable due to:
- maintenance;
- updates;
- technical problems;
- hosting outages;

- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where reasonably possible, we will take appropriate steps to restore website functionality.
27. INFORMATION ON OUR WEBSITE
General information provided through the website is intended to assist customers in understanding our products and brand.
While we take reasonable care with website content, information may occasionally contain typographical, technical or administrative errors.
We may correct genuine errors when identified.
Nothing in this provision permits us to make misleading representations or removes any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
28. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, IRONWOOD OUTBACK is not responsible for losses arising solely from:
- misuse of a product contrary to supplied instructions;
- unauthorised modification of a product;
- unlawful use of our website;
- customer-supplied incorrect information; or
- third-party services or circumstances outside our reasonable control,
except to the extent that IRONWOOD OUTBACK is responsible under applicable law.
This provision is not intended to operate as a blanket exclusion of liability.
29. PRIVACY
Personal information collected through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian law.
Our Privacy Policy explains matters including:
- what information we collect;
- why we collect it;
- how it may be used;
- third-party service providers;

- POD and fulfilment providers;
- overseas processing;
- cookies;
- security; and
- access and correction requests.
Please read our Privacy Policy together with these Terms.
30. SECURITY
You must not attempt to interfere with the security of the IRONWOOD OUTBACK website.
Prohibited activity includes knowingly attempting to:
- access restricted systems without authorisation;
- compromise customer accounts;
- introduce malicious code;
- circumvent website security;
- interfere with payment systems; or
- disrupt website operation.
Suspected unlawful activity may be reported to appropriate authorities where necessary.
31. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
Sometimes circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect our ability to fulfil an order or operate the website.
These may include serious weather events, natural disasters, fire, flood, war, civil disturbance, government action, border restrictions, industrial disputes, widespread telecommunications failures or major disruptions to transport or supply networks.
If such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate with affected customers where appropriate.
This section does not remove any refund, cancellation or other rights available to consumers under applicable law.
32. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time where reasonably necessary to reflect changes to:
- our website;
- products or services;
- payment systems;
- fulfilment arrangements;
- business practices; or
- applicable laws and regulations.
Updated Terms will be published on our website with a revised effective date.
Changes will apply prospectively and will not unfairly remove rights that have already accrued under an existing purchase or contract.
33. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as ineffective to the extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to operate to the extent permitted by law.
34. NO WAIVER OF CONSUMER RIGHTS
A failure by IRONWOOD OUTBACK to enforce a contractual right on one occasion does not necessarily constitute a waiver of that right.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, exclude or restrict a consumer’s statutory rights where those rights cannot lawfully be waived, excluded or restricted.
35. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Western Australia, Australia, together with applicable Commonwealth laws, including Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this clause is intended to prevent a consumer from exercising rights available under applicable Australian consumer or jurisdictional laws.
