SIZING

How do I find the right size?

The easiest way is to measure a garment you already own that fits you well.

  • Tops: lay the garment flat. Measure straight across the chest, just below the armpits (pit to pit), then from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem for the length.
  • Shorts and pants: lay them flat. Measure straight across the waistband, then measure the length or inseam.
  • Compare your measurements with the size chart in the FIT & SIZING section of the product page and choose the closest match.
  • Check whether the chart shows a flat (half) measurement or a full circumference, and compare like with like.
  • Between sizes? Think about how you like it to fit. Size up for a looser fit.

Why do I need to check each product’s size chart?

Our garments come from different makers, and sizing varies between them. A Large in one style may not measure the same as a Large in another, and it may not match the standard Australian sizing you’re used to. Always check the size chart on the individual product page before you order, even if you’ve bought from us before.

ORDERS & RETURNS

Is my order made especially for me?

Yes. Most IRONWOOD OUTBACK products are printed or made to order after you buy. They aren’t pulled from a shelf, so production comes before shipping. See Shipping & Delivery for how this works.

Can I return or exchange an item if I chose the wrong size?

Because your item is made to order, we generally can’t accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind. This includes when the wrong size was selected and we supplied the size you ordered. Please check the size chart carefully before ordering. Full details are in our Returns & Exchanges policy.

What if my item is faulty or not what I ordered?

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us with your order number and clear photographs of the issue. We’ll review it and advise you of the next steps. For full details, please see our Returns & Exchanges policy.

Why did my order arrive in more than one parcel?

Different products may be made and dispatched from different facilities, so one order can arrive in separate parcels, sometimes on different days. If part of your order hasn’t arrived yet, the rest may still be on its way.
